Alice is an innovative block-based programming environment that makes it easy to create animations, build interactive narratives, or program simple games in 3D. It teaches logical and computational thinking skills through fundamentals of programming and is designed for students across all ages. Creo developed age-appropriate programs and group activities in the context of impromptu story development, which engages kids (and adults too!) in the class.
Concepts taught include scene development, project management, parameters, functions, control structures, relation expressions, events and data type/arrays.
